It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a whole year since we last ranked the best horror movies of the year. But time flies when you’re having fun, and we’ve certainly had a lot of fun with horror movies in 2020.
As we did last year, we’ve collected all of the horror movies that were released in 2020 and ranked them from worst to best. We’ve also included a handy guide to help you decide which ones are worth watching.

I was not familiar with all of the movies on the list, but I have seen many of them and they are all great. I am especially looking forward to seeing The VVitch: A New-England Folktale and Morbius, which are both new movies that look promising.

For what it’s worth, we also thought Bone Tomahawk (2015) was pretty darn scary- it’s definitely one that will stay with you long after you’ve seen it.
