In horror movies, God is often represented as a force for good that protects characters from evil. However, there are also times when God is absent or seemingly nonexistent, leaving characters to fend for themselves against the terrors of the world. Whether God is present or not, horror movies often explore the role of faith in the face of evil.

Horror movies deal with some of the deepest, darkest fears that we have. They tend to be about the things that we cannot see or control. In a way, they are about the ultimate unknown. And that is what makes them so scary.

But where is God in all of this? It’s a valid question. After all, if God is all-powerful and all-good, then why would He allow such terror and suffering to exist in the world?

The answer, of course, is that we don’t know. We can’t know the mind of God. We can only trust that He is good and that He has a plan for us, even when it feels like everything is going wrong.
