As the leaves begin to turn and October looms on the horizon, so too do the release dates for some of the year’s most highly anticipated horror movies. This month will see the debut of several new and highly anticipated films, including the long-awaited remake of Stephen King’s “It”, the new entry in the “Insidious” franchise, and a new take on the classic “Jigsaw” franchise. If you’re a fan of the genre, or just looking for a good scare, be sure to check out one (or all) of these new releases.<\/p>\n

The next Scream movie is set to come out in March 10, 2023 and it is titled Scream VI. The movie will again be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and the writers will be James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.<\/p>\n

The Nun II will be released on September 8, 2023. Evil Dead Rise will be released on April 21, 2023. M3GAN will be released on January 17, 2025.
