The story follows Hodaka as he tries to help others with his power, while also struggling with the idea that he may be too young and inexperienced to be using such a dangerous ability.<\/p>\n

I’m really bummed out about the news that Crunchyroll is removing a bunch of anime titles from their site. I was really looking forward to watching some of those shows. I hope that Funimation will still make them available to watch somewhere.<\/p>\n

One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 1997, with the chapters collected into 97 tankōbon volumes as of September 2020. The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world’s ultimate treasure known as “One Piece” in order to become the next Pirate King. The manga has been adapted into an original video animation (OVA) produced by Production I.G in 1998, and an anime series produced by Toei Animation, which began broadcasting in Japan in 1999. Additionally, Toei has developed twelve animated feature films, one live action film, and twelve anime television specials. Several companies have developed various types of merchandising such as a trading card game and numerous video games.<\/p>\n
